The ACN was founded in 1947. It supports Christians around the world, where they face material difficulties or persecution. The ACN mission was initially located in Germany and Eastern Europe. It has developed over the years and according to needs in Asia, Latin America, Africa and then in the Middle East. In 2018, AED had 23 donor countries, including France.

For more than 160 years, l' Oeuvre d'Orient has been involved with Eastern Christians in 23 countries in the Middle East, the Horn of Africa, Eastern Europe and India. In times of war and peace, it supports the action of bishops, priests and religious congregations who intervene with everyone, regardless of religious affiliation.

Service of the Catholic Church, it bases its action on the Gospel and the social doctrine of the Church. In France, Secours Catholique covers the entire territory, thanks to its 3,700 local teams in 75 local offices called "delegation".

SOS Chrétiens d'Orien t is an association of general interest, apolitical and has been operating legally since 2013 in the heart of the secure disaster areas of the Middle East. Its teams work 24 hours a day in the field with all Eastern Christians, whether Orthodox or Catholic, providing concrete and above all human material help.

OUL , initiated by the  Missionary Fraternity John Paul II  in August 2021, just after the explosion in Beirut. This operation brings together several players including the Vox Humani Association.  It is a way so that anyone can join this Operation, so that it is not only punctual, but lasts in time because the needs are so numerous and these emergencies will last much more than a few months.
